Tripkicks Launch Timeline

Standard timeline for implementing Tripkicks

The typical launch timeframe for Tripkicks is 6-8 weeks, and a dedicated Tripkicks Client Success Manager (CSM) is assigned to guide clients through implementation and ensure that their unique requirements, initiatives, content, and insights are incorporated throughout our solution.

Tripkicks Launch Steps

When launching Tripkicks, our approach is to have weekly check-point calls (30 mins - 1 hr) where Tripkicks will quickly review status, but spend most of our time together collaborating and workshopping with client. The working sessions minimize the amount of time our clients need to spend on the launch – since we can do things together, and because Tripkicks does all the heavy lifting.

Key milestones, activities, and information on Tripkicks launch

  • Activation of Tripkicks in the SAP Concur App Center. This activity only takes a few seconds, and enables the API connecting your Concur Travel environment and Tripkicks.
  • Review of Tripkicks with client's IT group. This step gives us the opportunity to explain Tripkicks at a technical level, answer questions, and provide guidance on how to distribute Tripkicks through you preferred browser extension. Typically distribution is handled by the Domain Admin, or resources that oversee your Mobile Device Management (MDM) Software or Group Policy, and is viewed as an "easy request" with minimal time or resources from your IT group. Note that this is the only activity where client IT is needed.
  • Most of our time together is spent in workshops, tailored specifically to our clients, where your Tripkicks CSM will facilitate and help identify the data and content that will be configured in your Tripkicks environment. (Client selects from standard data that Tripkicks makes available, but also provide company-specific information to make the site more tailored/personalized for your company)
  • Leverage Tripkicks' simple communication templates and resources, customized for our clients prior to launch. We understand that many of our clients represent large corporations with a ton of competing priorities, so we try to be the “do-ers” as much as possible.
  • Tripkicks is a considered to be a "light" implementation, especially when compared to other projects and deployments within T&E.

Throughout implementation and launch, Tripkicks does all the heavy-lifting. The total time commitments (from clients) usually range between 15-25 hours total (including the time from IT, which is generally 4-10 hours).
